RUBBING LEADERS they come in both monofilament and RT braided version, these rubbing leaders are hand built by CatMaster Tackle. The monofilament and RT braided rubbing leaders come in two variants each, the monofilament rubbing leaders come in 100lb and 150lb. The RT braided rubbing leaders come in 200lb and 300lb and these are available in either black or green
The 100lb monofilament and the 200lb RT braid rubbing leaders have been designed to tackle most UK venues and the 150lb monofilament and the 300lb RT braid rubbing leaders have been designed to tackle the harshest conditions and larger fish on European, Asian and other worldwide venues.
The monofilament Advanced Rubbing Leaders are 2mtrs long and consists of a CMT 100/150lb swivel at one end and a loop at the other end both being secured with 2 crimps for strength and shrink tubing and a 12mm rubber bead this acts as a stop against the swivel end for a running lead, to attach your chosen trace you can either tie direct to the swivel or loop over this also applies to your main line on the loop end of the monofilament rubbing leaders,
The braided RT rubbing leaders are 2.5mtrs long and consists of cmt 150/200lb swivel at one end which has been tied with a Palomar knot and a figure of 8 loop at the other end also comes with a 12mm rubber bead this acts as a stop against the swivel end for a running lead ,to attach your chosen trace you can either tie direct to the swivel or loop over ,to attach your main line you can either loop to loop or cut the loop of the RT rubbing leader and tie a grinner to grinner knot.
These new leaders are recommended to use if fishing in areas of snags, mussel beds, rocks, drop offs or anywhere there is danger of abrasions damaging your mainline.
